TEC-9 / KG-9 GBB
TEC-9 / KG-9 GBB
The TEC-9 is an infamous machine pistol or submachine gun as it was cheap to produce due to its simplicity, this also allows the gun to be easily converted illegally into full auto. Due to these factors, the TEC-9 was favored by criminals and has been used in many heinous crimes ever since its introduction in 1984. However, it is also because of these reasons that the TEC-9 gained a pop culture notoriety similar to the AK-47, being referenced in popular music, shown in the hands of criminals and gangsters in TV shows and films as well as being in many video games, most notably the Grand Theft Auto series and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
The TEC-9 or KG-9 series of machine pistols are nothing new in the airsoft market, as Maruzen had made both springers and gas airsoft versions of it, Arms revolution made another GBB version using the Maruzen system with quality externals. Later RWA made an AEG version also with quality externals. Now, Kingdom Technology decided to release its own gas airsoft version of this infamous submachine gun, instead of making one using the aged Maruzen gas airsoft system, they took the liberty to redesign it, and here we have it, the KTC KG-9 ( KT-101) gas airsoft machine pistol.
Externally the KTC TEC-9 / KG-9 gas airsoft machine pistol is well built. Similar to the real steel KG-9 or TEC-9, The KTC TEC-9 / TEC-9 has a stamped steel upper receiver and a nylon fiber frame, the only difference is having an aluminum alloy bolt which is to keep the rate in full auto as fast as possible. Internally, the KTC TEC-9 / KG-9 uses an open bolt system, just like its real steel counterpart and unlike the RWA KG-9 electric airsoft gun, the KTC gas airsoft gun has select-fire capability and can fire both semi and fully automatic. Other than this, the KTC TEC-9 / KG-9 has an easily adjustable hop-up where all you have to do is open the bolt and adjust using the dial.??
